First of all, a language is anaturalhuman language(in contrast toartificial one) that is connected with the appearance of a human being - homo sapiens. Studying a language is a hard but very useful job in general. Each language has its own structure, phonetic and grammar rules existing only in this very language. Traveling broadens our knowledge about different languages, countries and remarkable places on the earth. During our vacation we decided to visit the well-known city Evora that is favorably situated in the southern part of Portugal on the hills - not far from Lisbon. This place with narrow streets remembers the ancient times - architecture styles of the past are diverse - buildings are beautiful and pompous. There is still a great building of Cathedral Diana - the most glamorous construction in the world. In sixteen century a university was erected and the greatest European masters like Clenardo and Molina received their education in its walls. Students from all over the world are studying there and learning a Portuguese language. While traveling through such amazing spots everyone begins to see the world from another angle definitely. Evora is a marvelous place for getting new impressions and emotions. We definitely grabbed the latest albums of a Cape Verde singer Cesaria Evora - she is very popular not only in her place but in the entire world. This singer is unique and unusual - for instance, she performs her songs wearing long clothing and not putting on any shoes. Her songs are romantic and soulful. Her last version 'Fala Pa Fala' leads the audience into Afro-Cuban area and helps better understand the way of life of people who are living there. By the way, the singer is sixty eight but she never thinks of giving in. She is always in good mood and challenges others with her positive attitude to everything that surrounds her. Her natural womanly behavior truly arouses delight and respect. | |
